Children's Ministry: Discipleship of our children

This year our annual Children's Christmas Program will be held on Sunday, December 12th at 10:00. Everyone is invited to come and see our children share the wonderful news of God's son, His most wonderful gift, being born!

The children do not need to wear special costumes unless you have been notified; they may wear whatever you deem appropriate for the occasion. Children should arrive by 9:35 to their Sunday School rooms. This is a wonderful event to invite friends and family to come and worship with us.

Pioneer Girls

Pioneer Girls will meet on Sunday nights from 6-7:30 PM; all girls in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to join us as we meet in the auditorium for games at 6 PM. From there we move to room 305 for large group Bible time. This year our theme is "The Fruit of the Spirit." Sunday nights is your time to meet and make friends, play games, make crafts, and learn who God is and how much He loves you! So, what are you doing Sunday night?


TreeClimbers

If you are a boy in kindergarten through second grade, or his Dad, TreeClimbers is the place to meet friends. Sunday nights from 6-7:30 PM in room 302, we meet to play games, make crafts and have a Bible devotional. The Dads have the chance to spend time with their sons and get to know other Fathers in the church. Our sons need to be mentored and guided in God's word. TreeClimbers is a place to help your family grow up our sons in Jesus, while having fun and getting to know other boys and men.


TeamKids

TeamKids is the place where boys and their leaders can grow up in the faith while having fun and building community in the church. TeamKids meets every Sunday in Room 301 from 6-7:30 PM and is for boys in 3rd - 5th grade. These boys are the future of our chuch; we want them to have a place to be nurtured and discipled and to find that Jesus is worth living for. All that and have fun too!1


Chidren's Ministry Values

  1. Partner with parents in the nurture and discipleship of their children in the Lord by providing a variety of ministries that aid them in this process during their early parenting years.
  2. Train and equip caring adults and teenagers to minister effectively to children and model godly Christian values for them.
  3. Guide children to faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
  4. Instruct and disciple them in their Christian walk, seeking their growth in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  5. Model for children and their parents dynamic Christian relationships in the body of Christ, where adults and children learn and serve together in meaningful ministries in our community.
  6. Provide opportunities for children to be a contributing part of our church through prayer, missions, community outreach, and service in Jesus' name.
